Powered by GoogleMy son had a really good time there, came home everyday excited and inspired. I asked him how he would rate the experience, and he said "it was really great". I noticed and he agreed with me, that the staff was very standoffish. At least the staff that was there when he was there. They do not greet, or even wave hello. They're basically sitting there on their phones at the time of drop off and the time of pickup. My son said that they were okay, basically interacting and monitoring people's progress from the computers. I think it would help the business, or at least show more professionalism if the staff would greet people and show appreciation that they were using their services. Especially at a place where you're entrusting them with your children for an 8-hour day.
My 10 year old went to a trial class here and will likely continue. The teachers are amazing and the facilities appear to be great. I suggest checking them out if you have anyone in the family interested in learning robotics from introduction with LEGO Spike to more advanced concepts.
Our 10 year old son has been going to Zebra Robotics in Holly Springs for about a year, starting pretty soon after that location opened. The coaches worked with our son to find his best starting point in the curriculum when he started. I like the way coaches are there to guide students or help with a difficult step, but generally let students try to figure out solutions through practice and experience. While this location opened with just a few courses, it has been adding more courses, camps and special events lately. The coaches are always happy to discuss how they feel our son is doing but we have discussed with them it would be nice to have a more documented progression on their site from the coaches, especially if we could do some things with our son at home. All in all we are happy with how our son is doing and he enjoys going each week.
My 1st grader loves building something new each week. Trevor and Cody are very engaged with the students. Zebra Holly Springs has been a great experience!
My son enjoys his Robot Design and Navigation class so much. He is excited to be part of the First Lego League competition team this fall. Thanks to Zebra Holly Springs
