The YWCA of Syracuse & Onondaga County runs its summer programming through Girls Inc. at YWCA, a girls-only program at its main office on Douglas Street. Camp Discovery is a seven-week day camp for girls ages 5-12, and Teen Summer is a parallel seven-week program for girls 13 and up focused on exploration and character building. Summer programs run July 6 to August 21, 2026, and the organization describes all Girls Inc. offerings as low cost, in a pro-girls environment, with limited space. The YWCA is a nonprofit serving marginalized women and girls, particularly girls of color, and its Girls Inc. affiliate also runs STEM programming and a winter break STEM camp.

Powered by GoogleSAVAGE.Q.EWWWY APPROVED The YWCA has received my approval. I was deeply moved by the exceptional and compassionate staff. Their assistance was genuine, and their kindness and welcoming demeanor were remarkable. I received immediate support. They provided water, demonstrated exceptional hospitality, and exhibited great kindness. They approached their work with seriousness and were highly attentive in their assistance. They actively listened to and understood my circumstances. They documented the details and scheduled a follow-up appointment.
Best swim lessons from this YMCA. Friendly lifeguards and staff. They take the time to guide your child and correct them in a pleasant manner
One day I had called up to Syracuse, ywca n this guy by the name of Hunter, was given me inaccurate information. About the place so I wasn't aware that the ywca, except abusive women that been in abusive relationships. Cause he didn't explain it to me in a professional way, I had to get the information from someone else I guess that place weren't for me. Hunter you need to start explaining things n a professional accurate way. Because his work ethics is terrible so as his customer service skills he needs more training 2 do.
