Youth Resources of Southwestern Indiana runs TEENPOWER, a peer-led leadership development and substance-abuse-prevention program for middle and high school students, held each summer at the University of Evansville. High School TEENPOWER runs about five days and Middle School TEENPOWER about three days, using interactive, evidence-based activities to build leadership skills and resistance to drug, alcohol, and tobacco use. The nonprofit has served the Evansville area since 1987.
