The Springfield YMCA's traditional day camp, set on 26 wooded acres on Lake Springfield between Springfield and Chatham. The full-day camp (7:00am-6:00pm, Monday-Friday) has campers work on weekly large-group projects presented on Fridays, with a weekly field trip to destinations such as Knight's Action Park and the Illinois State Museum.

They added a few window units but it really does not make a difference. The camp is great and the kids have fun.
