Powered by GoogleSeemed like much newer buildings. Staff was friendly and welcoming and seemed excited for the campers.
My daughter was bullied there so bad. No one would be her "bathroom buddy" so she could pee at night, the other girls called her a goblin and wouldn't go with her. The counselor was name calling the campers. And one girl kept trying to start fights with my daughter, and she tore up one of her art projects. My daughter got kicked out for having to go pee by herself because they all refused to go with her.
this place was the worst week of my life i was here the last week they operated of 2023 and the food was trash cold fruit mac and cheese with meat chunks in it as me and my cousin would say mac and meat and waffles with brickdust seriously you cant eat them they were so hard. The campfire was trash they were singing horrible songs and we never even got smores yet it was advrevtised. THIS WAS SO OVERPRICED 650BUCKS OVERPRICED. THE only fun thing was the zipline and horse riding. Let's talk about food again everybody there was starving to death couse no one wanted the slop they had to offer i think I lost 10 pounds that week😅🤣😂. We were living off snacks we bought. BTW YOU DONT GET YOUR PHONE. the bath room was trash there was clothes all over and dirt the kids trashed it. The beds looked and felt like they were going to break. One night we got a patato for dinner yes a patato for dinner a cold patato. And finally lastly you don't see your parents for 5 and a half days and you cant call them either and the counselors /people in room with us were mean and yes on of them was vaping. Worst 5 days of my life ever not joking don't recomend 0 stars
We dropped my 10 year old off exactly 30 years after I was 10 and went to camp here. It obviously looks a lot nicer now than when I was a kid and my daughter got a bunk house with central air so that’s awesomely boujee! Is she camping or glamping??? Haha She got there a few days ago and we go pick her up in a couple days so I haven’t gotten to talk to her yet, but they have options where you can take a camp that focuses on something specific so she chose Art Camp. The kid loves art so she HAS to be having a great time!! If I’m wrong and it was terrible and she hated it I’ll come back and update this review. Lol
Nice area, nothing too special. Most all of it was put away for 2020 and everything was locked away.We rented it for about 80 people lots of kids. The mosquitoes were killer. They should have sprayed. The phone number for the maintenance person was incorrect on the list of numbers given to me. There was a burning wire smell in the kitchen we got really scared. The lights did not work outside. The camp has a lot of amenities and typically people use them other summers but not for 2020 we could not use the trampoline and iceberg. The contract I was originally given said we would have use of trampoline, then I was told no and given a contract edited. I wanted to back out, however I had everyone excited and on board and they thought we would get amenities. We took our own boat. Some of the a/c in the cabins did not work. We cleaned and help organize before we left. Renting one cabin with more amenities, fire pit, pontoon etc. on the lake is what I prefer.
