Two days after my last visit on the central coast, I was in Redding and received nothing but attitude from the front desk weekend stuff. I felt like they were purposefully going out of their way to block me from using the facilities for which I pay a monthly membership. I went across town and got a free day pass at Planet Fitness. Shasta Family YMCA gets my lowest rating for poor customer service and potential racial discrimination. Only time I’ve ever had a problem with staff at the Y in over 40 years of membership.
