The Yelm branch is one of nine Boys & Girls Clubs of Thurston County sites, serving kids and teens ages 5-18 with programs in art, sports, STEM, and leadership plus homework help and teen mentorship. Summer day camp is offered at select branches including Yelm, with themed weeks that families can book by the week or for the full session. The club is a nonprofit that has operated in Thurston County since 2001 and opened the Yelm branch in the former city hall in 2019.
