Don’t be fooled - YMS advertises as based at Macclesfield Park but depending on what team your kid plays for you may end up driving them a half hour away or more for practices several times a week. If they do actually play at Macclesfield, good luck if a practice starts or ends at 6:30pm. Getting in and out of the single park entrance, and finding a place to park so you can drop off your kid (after circling the place a few times to find the right field because they either don’t announce the field or else change it at the last minute - possibly to an entirely different location in town or in the next town) is chaos. Some practices for middle-schoolers finish after 9pm, half an hour away, on school nights, multiple times per week. Make it make sense.

Plenty of space for both regular days or events days. Enjoyable if you take a walk to enjoy its serenity and meet friendly locals walking their dogs. They just installed one way signs in almost 65% of the field, it is easy to notice but please be careful if kids are playing. Thank you.

Macclesfield Park. More of a sports complex than a true park, hard to find parking during tournaments or weekend soccer. One partial loop bike path, swings, etc. Access to the canal in the back corner by the rail bridge.

We participated in YMS EPIC tournament, and refereeing for 7x7 U9 was absolutely the worst. I won't be surprised if all teams (even clean ones) will start using elbows, hands and so on. "Thank you" for promoting aggressive soccer from young age.
