★ryan douglasPretty pricy for what we got but we did join late in the season. This could be a good organization depending on what coaching staff you get. I unfortunately wasn’t one of the lucky ones. Advice if you land on YBC Funk run as fast as you can. Jordan Funk is awful with kids and even worse at actually showing up to games and practices. He’s a paid coach and is late almost everyday and sometimes won’t even show up to games. There is no discipline or structure on the team. Kids make fun of each other and blame each other for losing. (This is allowed) He encourages kids to lean into a pitch to get a free base. Broke a kids finger throwing balls to hard, will watch pitchers implode giving up 12 runs and then just sit there and do no mound visit. Does nothing for the team or with the team except take their money! If you are looking for development Caleb savage is good with kids. He will take the time and help develop and encourage your child to be better. If your kid wants to learn a new position or have an opportunity to play a new position, this club is not for you. It is very political and you have had to come up through the organization or be the next Bobby Witt to change someone’s mind. But, they will take your money faster than you can get your wallet out! Please do your homework first before you make a decision. I should have! Oh and when the owner states there are no relations from coach and kids it’s a lie. Saw it on a previous review. All coaches are paid and 95% of the coaches have their son or brother on the team with their friends. So yes you pay a lot of money and still deal with the politics of rec league lol. Just missing a few thousand!
