As long as you are a student you can go to any of the Y @TCC fitness gyms and get your workout on. I like that you can go on the app and take virtual or live streamed sessions. That there are free activities to sign up for with amazing fitness trainers. There is a wide selection of activities to choose from. You can also walk and do your own workouts at any of the Y @TCC. I really appreciate that they are open Monday through Sunday at certain locations accommodating for the student's work and school schedule. I love the complimentary water, coffee, snacks, towels, and events that are put on for mental health and physical health at wellness health events. You can learn at a beginners pace, intermediate pace, and expert pace. You can also enroll in a monthly membership with standalone YMCA facilities for more access to other activities. You can really feel included here, and still do your own thing.

Basketball floor is an ice skating rink, floor waxing is done routinely anywhere once a year, and before the y took over tcc did that, for 5 years the y didn't do jack, turned a perfect wood floor into shipped run down garbage, they rather put all the money in their pockets and spend nothing to maintain, the state of the whole facility before and after they took over doesn't speak... it Shouts... Administration is present once a blue moon to deliver pointless promise, I've been telling them and waiting for years... Absolutely shameful...

Out of all the YMCA locations I’ve visited, I truly hate having to say that this one is by far the worst. I’ve always respected the YMCA brand and what it stands for, which makes this even more disappointing. At this location, there appears to be little to no supervision or accountability for the behavior of the young teens and kids who are allowed to roam freely. I personally witnessed repeated name-calling, body shaming, racist remarks, and homophobic slurs — not once, but multiple times — spoken openly and loudly. As an older grandmother, it was shocking and deeply uncomfortable to watch this happen with no meaningful intervention from staff. The management here seems either overwhelmed or unwilling to address the behavior, and it shows. A facility that promotes community, inclusion, and respect should never allow this kind of environment to continue unchecked. Because of these repeated experiences, we have canceled our membership and will be moving to Lifetime instead. It’s truly sad, because this could be a great location with proper leadership and standards. YMCA — you can and should do better.

I have been going to this gym for a few years now. The staff at the front desk know me pretty well and are always welcoming and helpful. They have several workout options and training programs that are available to you. They are always willing to give you some tips on workout plans if you need them.

Absolutely THE best gym I've been to. There is plenty of quality equipment, it is a clean space and has so much to offer! there is a private class room on the first floor with huge mirrors, spin bikes, weights... Basically a private personal gym. Then there is the main basketball court, volleyball, and pingpong. Upstairs you have the track, and the brunt of the workout equipment. The locker rooms are huge with ample space, lockers, showers, and changing rooms. The bathrooms have always been clean and usable, and there is also a water bottle filling station as well. The staff are incredible, and that is not an exaggeration. I used to not be a gym person however, this gym is comfortable (minus the work out burn) and I go here all the time!
