Powered by GoogleMy 13 year old, autistic son wants to be a camp staff member next year so he can go every week!! 🥹 I'm so glad he enjoys it so much! Hack: if you want your child to go on a week with mostly children, pick the most childish themes. I didn't know that the first year and there were a lot of adults there for Harry Potter week. This year he chose Minecraft and made so many more friends! He got some of their phone numbers and they're still gaming together! They can do archery, swimming, ziplining, boating...so many activities. They have a dance and talent show too. Wonderful experiences!
Camp Wonderland THANK YOU for being so amazing! My kiddo was so nervous to attend and looks like he doesn't want to come home now. From the bottom of my momma heart thank you!
If I could give Wonderland Camp more than five stars, I certainly would!! This camp has embraced our girls and been such a gift to our family. Our oldest daughter has been a summer employee at camp and loved the experience so much that she is now in nursing school! Our youngest daughter has been a camper for several years and does something new and brave every summer that I never dreamed she would! The staff is great - I don't have to worry - which is weird, but really, really good. And Mama's camp in the fall is seriously life-changing!
My son has attended this camp several times. He loves coming, and as a parent whose only child has special needs, I feel very comfortable with everything about this camp. The staff is fantastic and continuously engaged with my son. Jill Wilke, who runs the camp, is the founder's granddaughter and puts her heart and soul into keeping this camp top-notch! They are adding more weekend camps and will work on life skills at some. Summer camps are filled with swimming, swinging and arts and crafts. Never a dull moment. My husband and myself truly feel like Josh is part of a Wonderful Wonderland family!
My special needs son loves it there. He just got home from spending a week there and it's such a special and magical place for him to go. We love camp wonderland
