The Wind & Water Learning Center, run by the City of Orange Beach, offers a summer Sail Camp for ages 7 to 14 on the bay. Campers learn to sail Optimist and Sunfish boats through week-long, three-hour-a-day courses at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels, each ending in a regatta. The center also offers kayak excursions and sailing lessons, and you don't have to be a local to attend.
