We absolutely love Wild Roots and feel so lucky both of daughters were able to go through this program. It will be a sad day when our youngest ages out. The environment for children is unmatched. Wild Roots is run by two of the most amazing people who understand kids and encourage them to become amazing little humans. I will sing high praise for this program to anyone that asks! You won’t regret the decision!

Molly and Shannon are truly amazing teachers whose positive impact extends far beyond academics-- although the academic impact is equally excellent. They create such a warm, nurturing environment where kids feel safe, supported, and excited to learn and grow. The confidence they help build is real. I can’t imagine a better experience for my children!

I do not have enough great things to say about Molly, Shannon, and the entire Wild Roots operation. Our kids attended 6 weeks of summer camp with them. Within a week it felt like Shannon and Molly really “saw” our kids, picking up on little personality quirks, their motivations, and the things that make them special. The care and attention they put into getting to know your kids is unrivaled. On top of that they organize such beautiful days for the kids. Each summer camp week was themed, and activities and art were all oriented around the theme. They provided plenty of play time, time to explore nature, and enabled hands on learning. We seriously considered transferring our kids to Wild Roots permanently (but had already paid all our deposits to another school!). If you hope your children will find natural curiosity, love nature and be in a supportive environment amongst other kids - this is a great place for you!

If you are looking for a stellar early childhood program, I highly recommend Wild Roots Montessori!!! Our 4 year old daughter has been there this academic year and absolutely LOVES it. The program runs 8:30-3 M-Th, with affordable aftercare options until 5 pm for working parents, and half day on Friday. They do nature-based Montessori education in a lovely, brand new space by Silver Summit. She really enjoys learning math, science, reading, and especially “Field Trip Thursdays”. They have met with local authors, interviewed olympians, visited museums, made soap from scratch, hiked the Uintas, and so much more. They have a ski program as well, which is included in the cost and run by one of the teachers. They are so caring, gentle, and loving with these kids. The program had 7 children ages 3-7 this year, and is looking to grow to 15 or so. They are adding outdoor play structures and raised garden beds to their property. I can’t say enough good things about this school. Our daughter has made friends, learned a TON (from phonics to how to escape a tree well in snow 🤣), and can’t wait to do their summer program and return next fall. The teachers have extensive prior experience from other well regarded Montessori schools in Park City, as well as a host of other experiences (gardening, crafting, ski patrol/ski school instruction), which add so much to the curriculum.

We LOVE Wild Roots Montessori. Molly and Shannon are two of the kindest souls you’ll ever meet. My daughter comes home happy and tired from learning and exploring. The outdoor activities are so important for kids and they’re very well thought out. We’ve been a Montessori family for years and love this newer option for the PC area. 10/10 recommend
