★Just JerEven though my daughter tried to have a positive attitude and stuck out the entire week, she will not be coming back. She didn't really mind the cabins being unprepped and they had to clean them out upon arrival. But the staff was unprepared. There was no real check in procedure and we stood around with no direction. Then there were cabin mis-assignments which prolonged everything. Took us nearly 3 hours to get her checked in. But that's not the real issue. There were 5 chapel meetings per day (one hour each). They weren't really many activities that the staff had planned for the kids aside from a little swimming in a pond. My daughter and her friend called several times stating they were bored. Another key point is the staff avoids cleaning the bathrooms and showers by awarding a 'skunk bunk' and 'skunk cabin' everyday so whoever gets this award has the pleasure of CLEANING the facilities. Staff also uses the kids to clean the cafeteria and kitchen after meals. I didn't pay to send my daughter to camp to clean. Overall, it wasn't a great experience.

My youngest is 6 years old and I was really worried that he wasn't going to acclimate very well but they did an amazing job with him. The boys can't wait to go back next year and my husband and I can't wait to volunteer. Your children will get to learn things about Christ and spend time around other people with the same beliefs, I personally love this place ❤️
