Camp Whispering Pines is a 76-acre Baptist camp and retreat center in Citronelle, set beside Lake Chautauqua and supported by the Mobile Baptist Association. Its kids' and student summer camps — Big Adventure Kids, Momentum Kids and Veritas Students — are overnight programs housed in four dormitories and a 29-room lodge sleeping 228 total. Activities include a zip line, water trampoline, high ropes course, paddleboats and kayaks, paintball, an indoor rock climbing wall and a large outdoor chapel. The campus also hosts year-round retreats and group rentals.

★★★David HowardIf you are looking for a simply and mostly secluded spot for a group meeting then this could work for you. Not much available activities but they do have a ropes course and a small lake for swimming during seasonal days, but no pool. Available housing consists of several dorm style buildings with bunk beds and communal bathroom facilities with a few toilets and a couple of showers in each. Some of these dorms have a common area to meet in but most do not. They also have what they call an "Inn" which is hotel style with a variety of bedding accommodations with most having twin beds. Rooms do have private bathrooms mostly with showers. There is a small "living room" type room upstairs and downstairs for a small group meeting if desired. Camp does have a kitchen and dining hall but you must use their staff for the kitchen, and the food is average at best.

The drive was very scenic, however and worth the trip: winding country roads, light traffic, beautiful weather. I went by there to pick up a shipment. The people were courteous. The parking lot was full but I managed to find a place. I was able to make my pick up in 5 minutes and leave.
★★★★Christina MooreWe love this camp. I take my g a girls here every year. They offer a lake with a slide and a zip line. There is a rock wall and archery lessons they also have paintball. They have a hotel for guests and cabins. There are bathrooms and a cafeteria. As well as a gift shop. It's a Christian camp that has a chapel with services. The councilors are very nice and helpful with the kids. They lead kids in songs and games. Great family place and summer camp
