Camp SMILE is a residential summer camp run by United Cerebral Palsy of Mobile for children and adults with disabilities, ages 5 to 50, and their siblings. It runs four weeks of traditional camp activities — including kayaking, fishing and horseback riding — with a one-to-one camper-to-counselor ratio, serving more than 175 campers each summer. Campers include people with autism, Down syndrome, traumatic brain injury, intellectual disability and spina bifida, and the camp accepts campers regardless of the severity of disability or family finances.
