The Westfield Lacrosse Club is a nonprofit youth lacrosse program serving roughly 700 grammar- and intermediate-school girls and boys from Westfield and surrounding communities. It runs seasonal team play rather than a summer camp, starting with soft-toss programs for kindergarten and 1st grade, moving to hard ball and protective gear from 2nd grade, instructional play for 3rd-4th graders, and flighted and travel teams from there — the 4th-8th grade boys play in the North Jersey Junior Lacrosse League and the 7th/8th grade girls field Select and Travel teams.
