Brought my kids here for years, they got a new director and when mentioning parent concerns about how a teacher was treating children I was kicked out of the daycare. Don’t bring your kids here!
I love West Cedar Rapids KinderCare! As a single mom this daycare has been the biggest support system for my son and I. He is treated with such love there, and is given just the right amount of attention :) I love how they include a school system to have the kids learning as well as having fun! Making it easy for him to keep up with his milestones everyday! The directors are so supportive..I’m not a perfect mother, sometimes I forget diapers, wipes, don’t have time to feed my son at home when running late to work, when my financials aren’t looking the best, and I don’t have my copay right away. They take care of everything, they are patient with me, they look out for our family! Never making me feel less than in my mothership. What’s that saying? “It takes a village to raise a child” among others, KinderCare is a big part to our village ❤️
Our daughter's has been enrolled at KinderCare for 6 months now. I was nervous the first 3 months. Because she's my first and it was her first time going to daycare; I was a stay-at-home mom for 9 months. Therefore I hesitated , but the communication between teachers, The daily report , update pictures of her helped me ease in and become more comfortable. She's so happy being there and loves making new friends.
My son has been attending this center since he was around a month old or so, he is currently 9 months and we are still with this center. And i know what your thinking, she works there so she is giving a great review. But before becoming a teacher here I loved the teachers and friendly faces every morning when i dropped off my son for daycare they asked how he was and greeted us. They send home art and they interact with my son and make him feel welcome, they read books and sing songs to the kids. They treat him like one of their own and i love that! The lead infant teacher when i first met her she has always been very friendly and informational and welcoming! KinderCare West is great!!
