The West Branch Parks and Recreation Department's youth programs include Sunday basketball for pre-K and kindergarten and for grades 1-2, boys and girls travel basketball for each grade from 3rd to 6th, and travel volleyball for grades 3-4 and 5-6. Flag football for pre-K through 1st grade meets on Tuesdays at Lions Field. The department's activities also include youth soccer and t-ball, and West Branch residents can use the Hoover Nature Trail and five parks, among them Lions Field and Cubby Park.
