Weequahic Park Sports Authority is a 501(c)(3) park conservancy at 92 Thomas Carmichael Drive in Newark that partners with Essex County to maintain Weequahic Park and run youth sports there. It offers instruction and leagues in tennis, boxing, soccer, flag football and baseball for boys and girls from age 4 up, and hosts a sports and recreation summer camp structured by age group. Programs are deliberately low-cost to free, and instruction follows nationally recognized youth frameworks including NFL FLAG, USTA and Jr. NBA.

★Nicole BrownI will never send my daughter to this horrible organization again. I called in the last week of camp and asked how I can send my daughter. Maggie who I spoke to originally told me the price each week and how it goes. I told her I would speak to her and I would call her Thursday. She wasn’t there so someone answered in the morning I told them the previous conversation I had with Maggie she said she could take care of it so she sent me the registration through my email and I payed the fee. I kept calling them after I payed to make sure they received everything they never answered. I rang there phone the entire day after I payed and I finally got a man towards the end of the day. I asked him if everything was received he said yes I said she will come tomorrow which was a Friday he never said oh you’ll have to pay 25 for Friday also after I originally payed for the week Maggie just called me two weeks later saying I owe that Friday that she came I’m like how it should’ve been said to me that yall charging off a new week. Also my daughter stated the conditions was bad. She said they made them play out in the sun all day I thought it would be actual activities but that’s ok. Maggie seems very greedy for money. I will never send my kid here again. MONEY HUNGRY ORGANIZATION
