The Weatherby Lake Yacht Club runs a summer Junior Sailing program teaching lake children ages 6 to 18 to sail, with beginner, intermediate and racing levels plus an introductory Sailing Fun Camp for ages 6 to 8. Classes run June through July using the club's Opti and 420 boats and are open to Weatherby Lake residents and their families. Enrollment is limited to lake residents rather than the general public.
