The Jacomo Sailing Club runs a youth Teen Sailing Camp at Lake Jacomo in Blue Springs for students ages 14 to 18. Each camp is a four-day session running 9:00am to 2:30pm, using a Learn-to-Sail format that folds in STEM applications and environmental topics, with lunches, materials and club boats included. It is a hands-on introductory sailing program held on the water.

The club now has a dedicated training facility at Fleming Park as well as storage for their BoatShare fleet. Eleven small boats are available for use after your training is complete. This is a very social group! There have been snacks and food at every session.
