My son transitioned from rec soccer to Rush 4 years ago. What really sets the club apart is the range of levels offered with professional coaching. Whether a player is just starting out or looking for a more competitive environment, there’s a clear pathway that allows kids to be placed where they can grow and succeed. The convenience factor is also a big plus, with practices and programming that fits busy family schedules. We’ve had our son in the Rush Premier Soccer program for 7 years, and it’s always been a great option us and other parents in the Everett area. They have both Select and Premier programs for boys and girls, along with programs for the littles who are just starting out their soccer journey. My family has two players, both keepers, who have and currently play for Washington Rush for almost three years now. Between both my players our family has experienced coaches and teams from the Select, Premier and currently Girls Academy leagues. Washington Rush as a whole has fantastic staff from the amazing admins in the office making registrations and taking care of questions seem effortless to the coaches who put the time in to get to know your players and the families and truly look at development of each player over the long term. Coaches find ways to create challenging yet fun environments for players to not only grow their skills and ability to see and play the game but as supportive teammates as well. Coaches not only utilize team trainings to develop players but also employ video review sessions and scrimmaging/cross training with other teams within the club to maximize learning potential and honing of skills. Washington Rush has many skills clinics for all players throughout the year to allow for more opportunities to get touches on the ball and fine tune specific skills. Goalkeepers get specialized keeper training with amazing coaches and even throw in some fun keeper wars. We can truly say that Washington Rush has been a supportive environment for both our players to develop their skills on the field and learn how to communicate effectively with teammates and coaches who ultimately become like family.
