Indoor youth sports facility on the east side of Terre Haute, next to the LaVern Gibson cross country course, that runs youth basketball and volleyball leagues year-round plus a short summer basketball camp for grades 2-8. The camp is a multi-day skills clinic rather than an all-summer day camp, so it will not cover a workday. Registration for leagues and camps runs through the center's online store.

Although entry price has increased from $3 to $5 per person, and it is often hot inside, the surrounding areas are lucky to have this facility for family sports.

Nice facility. I’ve watched several volleyball games here, and the building is impressively well maintained. If I have any grievance, it’s with the parking area. Not because of the runoff that gathers around the drain in the center of the lot after a rainfall, leaving a light coating of silt. The powder looks like it came straight from grandma’s little clamshell makeup compact — excellent coverage, excellent adhesion. That alone may only be a minor nuisance if it's just me. But young kids' shoes aren’t made juat for walking. Sometimes, kids are artists, leaving prints on the backs of seat, sometimes the ceiling. Sometimes, they're just raging and kicking. My real grievance is the lack of trees. In the warm seasons, there’s no escaping the sun, roasting people directly and preheating their vehicles to the perfect temperature for roasting a chicken. Sure, you can remote‑start the car and run the AC for 15 minutes before you leave, but when you’re waiting an hour or more between games, and the car is the most comfortable option, you have to run your car constantly, even with a windows sun shade. I don't really have a complain. The place is just far enough away from Hwy 46, there are days when the drive simply isn’t worth it--- too much time or too little time--youll be waiting on your car and running the car constantly for the AC

A much needed facility for our youth, but it is in need of repairs and updates. They closed the banquet room, which gave families a place to sit between games and eat from the concession stand. The bathrooms there were better, too. The bathrooms in the main facility are horrible. Only 1 door closes, they are dirty. The bathrooms are used all day by young kids, families, older people. Why can't you fix the doors at least?! The bleachers are ok but there is not a lot of seating.

They are ok.... my child has done basketball at the YMCA and here now. And I will say its more competitive then the ymca but they so NOT DO FAIR TEAMS AT ALL. some teams have actual coaches, other teams have parents who aren't really coaches, so they aren't learning the game as much. Actual game days are a nightmare. I was told kids would wear a colored bracelet ans that woukd be the kid you "guard" so theres no teaming up. That was not true. Last game my daughters team is all girls except 1 boy. They played teams that were all boys over a foot taller then these girls. And these boys were AGGRESSIVE. Shoving, damn near tackling, slapping and pushing my daughters team to the ground. A girl would get the ball and would have all 4 boys from the other team all on her grabbing her ,pushing, not following the rules of basketball. I swore I was watching kids play tackle football. I feel they need to make the teams more fair. Or girls play against girls. And boys play against boys.

Kids leg ages five and six. My daughter loves to play. This facility is amazing the best I’ve ever been to. Very organized. Staff is friendly and quick to help. Restrooms are clean. Concession is offered. Our coach is amazing. Will definitely be enrolling in all sports at this facility.
