The Terre Haute Boys & Girls Club runs a summer day camp for members ages 5-18, held at Meadows Elementary School on S. Brown Avenue. Drop-off is 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. and campers are picked up by 5:30 p.m.; children are grouped by the grade they will enter in the fall, and breakfast and lunch are provided. Pre-registration and weekly payment are required (fees due the Sunday before each week, no refunds), and toys, books, phones and electronics are not allowed. The club also runs after-school programming and youth basketball, volleyball, flag football and tackle football leagues year-round.

★Mechelle WrightThis organization is very disorganized to say the least. If your child is playing a sport, they give no official schedule to the parents. The schedule constantly changes...they change the days, times and locations frequently durind the season. The coaches quit in the middle of the season due to poor leadership. There is minimal communication from the coaches and BGC leadership about changes of upcoming games. Very inconsiderate of the parents and kids schedules. Also, rec ball shouldn't be the same pricing as travel ball. Very sad operation.
