Apparently there’s a dress code but it’s not posted anywhere. Then the old man literally followed me around while I worked out to Idk make sure I kept my hoodie?? on meanwhile it’s 90 degrees in there and 70 outside but OKAY. Never coming again. It was a half shirt like ??? Anywhere else it’s acceptable so I’ll just go elsewhere
The pool area, regulations, and lifeguards are unpredictable and could use some work. I have gone above and beyond to advocate about this and not much has changed. All of the lifeguards have different rules and some are not very friendly or accommodating to special needs when requested. It is hard for anyone, especially people who are neurodiverse to go into a place that is unpredictable. It would be helpful if all of the rules and lifeguards were on the same page so that we would know what to expect. The rest of the YMCA and staff are GREAT! The pool area has been our only issue over the years.
The child watch program is PHENOMENAL! The girls are so good with my baby & he has a blast while I work out. It's a win win. We also love taking him to the treehouse & pool.
This Y was great! This was my 1st #D2D but hopefully not my last. Friendly people and the lunch/dinner selections were excellent. Looking forward to Dam to Dam 2020.
