We transitioned to Vogue Athletics by starting with private lessons, and from the very beginning we felt welcomed in. They were open to any questions we had, and everybody has been extremely professional throughout the entire process. One of the things I appreciate most is the communication. I truly felt like the entire year was planned and scheduled out well in advance, with very minimal changes other than adding practices when necessary to help our teams be successful. That level of organization and commitment made a huge difference for our family. My athlete has grown in so many ways this season — not just in her cheer skills, but as an overall athlete and teammate. We all know there isn’t always a lot of reward in cheer with how competitive the sport is, but this year felt incredibly rewarding and worth the investment. I begrudgingly stepped into competition cheer life this year and have come to regret not allowing our daughter to join earlier. Vogue is an amazing gym that is so much more than just comp cheer. It encompasses lessons of grit, determination, self-esteem, comradery , and of course team work. It holds athletes accountable when so many areas of modern life coddle them. However, it has amazing, loving, invested coaches. Coming out of competitive gymnastics, this has been a wonderful balance of hard work and enjoyment. I highly recommend you set aside any stereotypical thoughts of competitive cheer because this gym is amazing. My only regret is not knowing about Vogue when we moved to ABQ. Put your Vs up!
