Vick & Pathfinder Camp and Conference Ministries
Vick & Pathfinder Camp and Conference Ministries
American Baptist Christian camp on the shores of Otsego Lake in Cooperstown, operating as Pathfinder Lodge since 1947. Overnight sessions run Sunday-Friday for ages 5-17 with swimming, boating, sailing, hiking, crafts, cookouts and outdoor challenges, organised into themed weeks; a Monday-Friday day camp for ages 5-12 runs 8:30am-4:30pm alongside it with lunch included, and day campers join overnight campers for daytime activities. Programming is explicitly faith-based, with Bible study, memory verses and evening chapel, and the camp states it welcomes campers of all faith traditions or none. The site has fully trained staff and lifeguards and a health director on site, and states it meets New York State Department of Health guidelines for a children's camp; need-based scholarships are available by application.

Grew up here. Absolutely wonderful place to spend time. I highly recommend doing family camp!! The youth summer camping schedule can be found at their website.
I first went as a camper 70 years ago and couldn’t wait to become a counselor, which I did in 1960. Although I can see some changes have been made, it still feels like the Pathfinder of old! Wonderful experiences, great counselors and many, many new friends!
I went to this camp as a child and all 4 of my children worked at this camp, obtained their lifegaurd certifications here. Great place!
Great camp in an awesome location
