Verona Area Community Theater offers weekly drama, music and theater design classes for kindergarten through eighth grade at the Dee Baldock Performing Arts Center in Verona, with students placed by school grade. Classes are limited to 15 students, while a show choir for grades 5 to 8 takes up to 50. A youth dance program run with the City of Verona Recreation Department offers ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop and lyrical classes from pre-K through grade 8, with an optional April recital. The theater also runs summer camps for grades K to 8 and youth productions, and fees are waived or reduced for families needing financial assistance.
