If you are looking for a dance studio home look not further than Velocity Dance Center!!! We have only been there 4 months however the change in our little girl has been amazing. She asks to go to dance just about everyday. Her teachers Ms Briley and Ms Kelli are amazing. So positive and loving to our sweet girl and every child in the class. As a first time dance Mom I’ve had a lot of silly questions and I have never felt more supported getting the answers I needed. Thank you all so much!! We also had an amazing 1st recital experience this past weekend. Our family came all the way from the Dallas and the Kansas City area. Everyone said it was an amazing experience!! Thank you so much Velocity for giving our little girl confidence, discipline and the biggest smile I've ever seen being able to perform on the big stage. We love and appreciate all of your hard work from the behind the scenes work we don't see to the weekly classes and this huge recital.

Cannot say enough good things about Velocity! The studio came highly recommended but it’s been nothing but positive experiences since we began last fall! All of the employees are so helpful and our instructors are absolutely fantastic. They all truly meet your child where they are on any given week! I would recommend this studio to anyone! I’m also blown away by how streamlined all their processes are for all the things! Think recital, photos etc!

I had two of my very young daughters enrolled here a few years ago. Meghan and Ashley were initially welcoming, but the place is extremely cliquey. I recall asking about the “dance tribe” shirts while they were having a T-shirt sale and Ashley snarled at me and said “these are reserved for the parents that actually help out”; my then husband (now ex, because domestic violence) was the one to take my two littles to class on Saturdays. After recital (which I was present for—including the photo session—they sent one photo to our home with only him and the girls. As a domestic violence survivor, there was so many missed moments here. I was the one who got them to their first recital. I tried. Being beaten down emotionally by Mr. All Star because he charmed two women? Okay. But I would absolutely not trust my girls in an environment where there are mothers running the place who are incapable of recognizing predatory behavior and chastising a mother who is being abused. There. I said it.

I can not say enough good things about Velocity Dance Center. My daughter has been with Velocity since she was two and we just started her 8th year. The staff is AMAZING. Her classes this year include two of her closest friends which is an huge plus and her teacher knows her stuff. Mrs. Emma is such a gem. If you are looking for a dance studio that treats you like family, look no further!

My 2 daughters have attended Velocity Dance Center for several years and have been part of the company/competition group for most of their time at the studio. They have several more years left before they graduate high school and I look forward to the improvements and changes they will receive in the years to come from this incredible dance studio. It's very difficult to explain in words the valuable benefits my girls have received by being part of this dance family but, their philosophy is very well rounded! They not only teach various dance techniques but, everything else that comes with dancing competitively: stage awareness, confidence, teamwork, self control, treating others with respect, encouragement and the list goes on. The entire staff is exceptional! Although each teacher or staff member brings something special to the team, collectively, they have incredible vision and exceptional talents! Very well organized, incredible schedule awareness, automatic payments every month, organized family events outside of studio time and definitely a family style environment. Very glad we are a part of the VDC family! I wouldn't trust my daughters with anyone else!
