Powered by Googleamazing small sailing club hidden off the main drag - laid back members and island atmosphere. the club hosts a number of social and sailing events for members every year, along with a few international regattas, which are well attended.
Perfect place to both learn to sail and enjoy the sport. Members are extremely friendly and love what they do. Sailing is in protected areas so it's great for kids. It's also about an hour from Miami so it's not a terribly long trip and you don't have to deal with hassles like parking and congestion both in and out of the water.
Very delightful and I had the opportunity to meet some members who were simply the nicest folk.
Joined the club a few years ago after our son had been sailing in the MSYSP Youth Sailing program for a couple of years. Only regret is not joining sooner. :-)
A little slice of heaven in Key Largo. I visited here with my daughter for a Regatta she was sailing in and felt like I was home visiting good friends, even though it was my first time there. A beautiful location, and with a ton of shops and amenities within walking distance, this place is truly a hidden gem in the Keys! Highly recommended to stop in if you can.
