I was dissatisfied that these studios were just so excited to have a boy show up that on the first day they immediately pushed competitions and an expensive class plan etc on me without knowing him or his skill level. Felt like a money grab. Went to first class at UR and never looked back. The most important things at this studio is fostering community and a love of dance. For a decade I have watched these kids grow as dancers and mature into young adults who have used dance as a creative outlet and will have a lifelong love and appreciation for it. There are no expensive costumes, pricey travel or spending 10 months rehashing one routine ad nauseaum. If you want a casual atmosphere where all kids can be themselves and meet new friends while growing as dancers - this is it. Additionally they have provided numerous opportunities for community and even professional gigs for the more serious students through their respected reputation and established network. Their adult class program is amazing and allowed me a creative outlet and introduced me to amazing humans that are now some of my closest friends. 100/10
