This place is so beautiful very fun to take the kids has a really long walking trail it’s very pretty and has lots of shade so you’re not really in the sun and they have beautiful fish there we were lucky enough to see a nest they were watching with the camera and even got to see the bird.

Very friendly staff. They have an internship program with colleges so you may get to meet them. The inside with the aquarium is like 15 mins to get through the whole thing. They do however have a nature trail which is beautiful. However, we got absolutely ravaged by mosquitoes as soon as we got to the wooded area so we didn’t get to do it since we didn’t bring any bug spray.

My wife and I joined eight other people for an Estuary Exploration on Saturday. Our Guide was Captain Dodi (Dodie). Dodi is very personable and informative. I’m a native of the Georgia Coast and long time Marsh resident but I gained some knowledge on this boat trip! The number of participants was perfect and the boat ride was a great adventure. Some of the water was familiar from land but the boat ride provides a new perspective! I’ve seen hundreds of Pelicans in my life but never a White Pelican. Thank you for a wonderful experience! this was such fun way to spend an hour and $7. it’s a super small center but there’s lots to see and interact with, but if you wanted to breeze by you could probably do it in thirty minutes. i’d also like to say that sandy is a super awesome receptionist/greeter! she came outside when she noticed us looking at the turtles, took the time out of her day to explain how they got here, their personalities and more. she really made the experience fun before it even started.
