UCCS Campus Recreation runs youth summer day camps out of the Gallogly Recreation and Wellness Center in Colorado Springs for kids roughly ages 5-13. Its Mountain Lion Camp (entering grades 1-8) mixes swimming, sports, rock climbing, science activities, and arts and crafts, while the Outdoor Adventure Camp (ages 8-13) adds daily pool and climbing time and off-campus trips; a swim camp is also offered. Sessions are weekly, set by the university.

Nice and clean facility and friendly staff. Family friendly (basketball courts, soccer field, pool, climbing wall). Birthday parties for kids is especially fun. We are UCCS affiliated- don’t have a membership but we pay for a day access pass. They don’t have child watch but as long as your not planning to do the weight machines or go upstairs, it’s a great place to be active and entertained with the family.

So much to offer! Love the rock wall and the pool is a good size for multiple swim lanes. Upstairs has all the gym equipment one would want plus there are exercise classes!

Awesome place. I love the tiny rock wall! It's well worth the $10 price for the whole year. As others have stated, the music can get a bit loud. Last time I was there they were playing what seemed to be the radio and so advertisements were playing and that was quite annoying. Whoever is controlling the music may want to look into a premium Spotify account!

Amazing gym. I workout everyday after classes and It truly is a great place. Staff is typically friendly. All the options for equipment is awesome so you can always get a great workout in. The gym is kept very clean and equipment is always back where it should be after use. Great gym for the university.

It's a great place and there are amazing people that work there. The expansion was needed but there are still many basic things lacking. Half of their leg machines are always broken, it has been a few months now and still nothing is fixed even after speaking to their employees. They have too many cardio machines that nobody uses, that space can be utilized better with other equipment. They are also the first gym I have ever been to that does not allow guys to wear stringer tank tops which is absolutely pathetic. If they want things to improve they should listen to their customers!
