We’ve been at tutor time in Newark for over a year now and our son is doing so well! He will ask to “go see friends and Ms Keiti” even on the weekends. He’s had a few primary teachers but Ms. Keiti has been his favorite (and ours too!), she is calm, nurturing and creative- everything you could ask for in someone working with children. Ms. Maria is also wonderful, always making sure our son feels the warm welcome in the mornings- her enthusiastic greetings really helped him get comfortable during early morning drop offs, and she is always actively engaged in their classroom activities. We are grateful he is getting such a wonderful early learning experience.

We first came to Tutor Time 5.5 years ago with our daughter. It was the thick of covid and my husband and I were essential workers. Not very many places were open, but tutor Time was and they had some good safety measures in place. It was a great experience for my daughter, we eventually moved her to a preschool/preK program (when she was 3) that was a little closer to home, but when I got pregnant with my second a year and a half ago we figured we would call to see if they had openings. To our pleasant surprise, Ms. Courtney answered the phone - she had been my daughter's infant teacher (she's awesome!) and is now an assistant director. Bridgett is still the director and doing a great job keeping things running smoothly - we are informed and kept up to date during the day. We found out most of our favorite teachers were still here 2.5 years later and in an industry rife with turnover, to have retained as many great teachers as they had was impressive. We knew without a doubt we were going to send our son here because of the great care our daughter received. We've been taking my son for a little over a year now and he loves it. He is safe, happy, and well cared for by old favorites and new alike! I can't speak highly enough about the infant teachers, Ms. Chrissy, Ms. Chris, and Ms. Tiaba these women are outstanding. Ms. Taiba had my daughter years ago and still remembers her and asks about her. All three women are caring, kind, and attentive. Ms. Ollie is a new face for us, but my son absolutely adores her and she is so kind and creative with her curriculum. Ms. Maria and Ms. Jenn are some other old favorites. Both had my daughter and ask about her frequently and both have been so kind and loving towards my son and his classmates. Ms. Ashley Hall is another new face for us and she has been an exceptional addition to the tutor time admin team. She is always there smiling, welcoming, and attentive. Another favorite of my little guy. To address some concerns from previous comments: I never watched the live stream, don't have time, but as someone who teaches as well (middle school) it's impossible to see everything that happens in the room. Especially, when you have a bunch of uncoordinated toddlers stumbling about. If you want minute by minute individualized attention for your child get a nanny. If you want your child safe, cared for, the added safety of cameras, regular communication, interaction with other kids, and most importantly loved by a team of professionals this place is great. There is turnover from time to time, and some shuffling of kids if a staff member fails doesn't show up, but it's done to keep your kids safe and cared for - never just randomly. I think you would be hard pressed to find somewhere that doesn't have staffing issues from time to time, but the core team, and the women mentioned above, more than make up for some of the shuffling. Their hearts are truly in their work and they simply do not get enough praise for their efforts.

We’ve had a wonderful experience with this daycare, and I’m truly grateful for the care and dedication shown to my daughter. The environment is safe, nurturing, and very well-organized, which gave us great peace of mind from day one. A special thank you to Ashley Hall for her excellent management and support. Her professionalism and commitment really reflect in the overall quality of the center. I would also like to express my heartfelt appreciation to my daughter’s teachers, Aouatef Meskini and Giulianna Wallace. They are incredibly caring, patient, and attentive. It’s clear they genuinely love what they do, and their positive influence has made a big difference in my daughter’s growth and happiness. I highly recommend this daycare to any parent looking for a caring and trustworthy place for their child!

We really appreciate Ms. Santos at Tutor Time. She is a kind and caring Junior K and school age teacher who treats our kids with patience, respect, and encouragement. She creates such a positive and fun environment that my kids are excited to attend every day and always leave happy and proud of what they’ve learned. Her dedication and warmth make them feel valued and supported, and it’s clear she genuinely cares about each child’s growth. We are so thankful for everything she does to make learning enjoyable and memorable!

They are so kind and accommodating here. My son has been going here for about 2 years now and he is always treated with kindness and they are so flexible! He is special needs, so taking on everything that goes along with a special needs child is a lot to handle. We are so thankful that Tutor Time is there for us after we had a tough time finding a good fit elsewhere. Thank you so much to the staff for all their hard work taking care of our little one and everyone else too! EDIT: I decided to scroll through and read the reviews that were not positive on here and I just wanted to say that the experiences shared in those reviews did not match my family's experience at all. Now I understand that everyone is different, and my family's experience may not match another's for a million different reasons. That being said, its also important to remember that dealing with children, and other people, there will be differences of personality, expectations, and opinions of what is considered the best practice in approaching childcare. I encourage anyone reading the reviews to make a decision between this childcare facility, and other's to actually reach out to the facility, do a tour, and meet with the providers rather than simply go off of what it says on the Google Reviews. Also bear in mind that if someone has a negative experience, no matter the context, they are way more likely to leave a review about that experience and share it than if they have a positive experience. There are a lot of children and parents who go to this particular Tutor Time every day, and I only saw a few negative reviews over the past several years, and many positive ones. I hope other parents will share their positive experiences as well.
