Truckee Gymnastics runs a co-ed gymnastics day camp for ages 6-12 built around event skill stations, obstacle courses, open gym, crafts and water-balloon play, ending each session with a Friday performance for families. Camp meets Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM-3:00 PM, in single-week sessions in June and July, and all ability levels are welcome; children are grouped by age and ability with a maximum of eight per group. Coaching follows USA Gymnastics Levels 1-3 skill progressions and safety guidelines at the gym's Deerfield Drive facility in Truckee.

I came to the speeches and awards on the last day and was blown away by the amazing coaches, Laura’s (the owner) leadership and the love and compassion that she dedicates to gymnastics and the gymnasts. I could not stop thinking about how much effort, dedication and attention to detail she and her husband put into the gym, it is really moving and rare to see. On the last day we all went home with a photo picture book of our kids, taken at different points in the week. In addition, a video production was created for us to enjoy (the music and the gymnastics) and another memento. Gymnastics facilities are challenging to run anywhere, but few people could make this type of facility work in a mountain town. I commend the owners for providing a safe, fun and educational facility in a challenging environment. The convenience of having this facility in our little town is very valuable for busy families, such as mine. Gymnastics has been our saving grace for both our daughters through this pandemic.
