Triangle Volleyball Club is a Morrisville-based nonprofit junior volleyball club (founded 2002) at the eight-court Wake Competition Center. It runs an extensive summer camp and clinic lineup for boys and girls, from a beginner Youth Volleyball Program for elementary and middle schoolers to intermediate and classic programs for experienced middle- and high-school players. Offerings span all skill levels across many weekly sessions.

Very nice facility. We played a Carolina Region volleyball tournament. The tournament Director was very friendly and helpful.
This is PROBABLY the WORST place to go if you want your kid to learn something. I wish I could give ZERO stars on Google. The best part about a coach is not about bringing a kid up from already decent skill level to good. It lies in bringing up a kid who has NO IDEA about a skill to bring some enthusiasm in the kid about learning the game more. These folks signup about 50 kids in the program. They are like a herd of cows running from one end of the court to other. Only the kids that speak up a lot and already are good at volleyball are encouraged. The high school kids who are assistant coaches seem to pay ZERO attention to the less skilled kids. My daughter signed up for this thinking she will learn a lot about volleyball and all she learnt was that the kids who are well skilled always play and the kids who are less skilled dont even get a chance to play or get a feel for the game. Absolutely disappointed and seriously a crappy place for kids to start off learning volleyball. You are better off being in your own backyard.
Alejandro's earlier review was spot on... the tryouts this year were certainly not as "fair" and "open" as Triangle claims they are. They may not make official "pre-offers" like other clubs, but the teams were certainly formed during the open gym process and likely even earlier based on what I witnessed. If they are not pursuing your child or looking at them during open gyms, save yourself the time and money.
My daughter recently attended tryouts with this club, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. While I understand she may not currently have the skill level for this program, the way the tryouts were run did not match what was advertised. The tryouts were promoted as a two-day process with a $60 early bird fee. However, team selections were finalized by 10:20 p.m. on the first night, and the second day was canceled. The club director Mrs Fadool looked at parents and players and told us see you tomorrow regardless of whether players received an offer, which created false hope. To make matters worse, the cancellation notice came in an email at 3:20 a.m., leaving my daughter—who was excited to continue—very disappointed. With over 100 girls present, nobody got a chance to participate in a second day of evaluation. This left the impression that the process was not handled transparently, despite the club’s claims. The club may offer great opportunities for certain athletes, but in my experience, the tryout process felt misleading and unfair to new players.
