I recently hosted a surprise birthday party for my mother here with 18 guests, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. First, I want to be clear: the art instructor was wonderful. She was pleasant, professional, and truly did her best to make the class enjoyable. Honestly, she was the only reason the experience was even remotely bearable, so kudos to her. The real issue was the facility itself. As soon as we walked in, it was immediately noticeable how hot and stuffy the room was. Within minutes, our guests were fanning themselves, and several of my aunts came up to me asking if I could request the A/C be turned on because it was extremely uncomfortable. When I approached the instructor, I was shocked to learn that the A/C had been broken for days. Apparently, a service call had already been made, but no one had come to fix it yet. What’s unacceptable is that literally NO ONE informed me of this ahead of time. I had spoken to Donna (who I was told is someone in charge) earlier that very morning, and not once was I warned by even someone in charge that the class would be held in a room with no air conditioning. We were left completely in the dark. For a 2.5-hour event with 18 people, this was beyond uncomfortable. Had I been notified, I could have: * Warned my guests * Rescheduled * Or chosen another venue entirely Instead, we were stuck fanning ourselves through what should have been a fun and memorable celebration. To make matters worse: * No discount or refund was offered * No fans were provided * No real attempt was made to accommodate the situation As a business, it is their responsibility to ensure basic comfort for their customers. If something as critical as A/C is broken, you must disclose that before hosting events. This was a surprise party, and it was embarrassing and frustrating to put my guests through that. I’m just thankful our party invites were a good sport about it and didn’t let it ruin my mother’s celebration. I’ve attended Tipsy Canvas before and never experienced anything like this, which makes this even more disappointing. This could have been avoided with simple communication and professionalism. Sadly, I would not recommend hosting events here unless you are absolutely sure the facility is in proper working condition.

We had such an amazing time at Tipsy Canvas! Gabi the instructor was amazing and made sure everyone was keeping up, offering help to anyone who needed it, and above all making sure everyone had a great time! My husband and I will definitely be coming back!

Hailey was the best instructor! She made us feel so welcomed and let us enjoy our artistic creativity. She was encouraging and made the experience one to remember.

My fist time here . My best friend set this up for us to celebrate my birthday . Esmi assisted us with our paintings. She is hands down the greatest. She had so much patience with us. The environment was fun and a great first time experience. I would recommend Esmi.
