Powered by GoogleI recently started taking a beginning tap class at Thrive Dance Center, and it’s been a really wonderful experience. Coming into it a little later in life, I was honestly pretty nervous and a bit apprehensive about trying something new. But Polly is an incredibly patient teacher and creates such a welcoming, comfortable environment. The class moves at a pace that feels very approachable for beginners, which makes learning enjoyable instead of intimidating. I always enjoy my time in class and leave feeling really good about the experience. I’m very grateful to have found Thrive Dance Center.
Amazing studio. Well run and positive atmosphere for young dancers. The adult programs are equally inspiring. As a dance mom, with experience at over 15 studios locally , we highly recommend this studio!
I've taken two adult hip hop classes with Ahjalia and OBSESSED with my new Tuesday night activity! The best, most welcoming, come as you are energy. Very easy drop in process to trial a class, would recommend to anyone!
From day 1 I have loved coming to the adult hip hop class - I plan my week around it. It’s a low pressure situation, without all the showy video-taking and self promotion that an old lady like me doesn’t care about. The class is a great mix of levels, we get to learn a new dance every few weeks without the threat of having to perfect it for performance, and Ahja is extremely kind and encouraging as are the participants. I cannot recommend this class enough.
We tried out a few different dance studios for my 4 year old daughter before we landed at Thrive. We did a free trial class during the week of Halloween. My daughter showed up in regular clothes and everyone else was in costume. The staff were all so welcoming and they gave her a headband and a bunch accessories so she wasn’t the only one without a costume. We signed her up for the hip hop/jazz class with Miel and she LOVES it. My daughter adores Miel. Angela is great. Very friendly and really informative. Really happy we landed at Thrive!
