theCoderSchool Suwanee runs week-long summer coding day camps at 4140 Moore Road, with most camps starting mid-morning and finishing early afternoon and some offered as half-day. Camps cover game development, Minecraft coding and similar tracks, are taught by the company's Code Coaches at a low student-to-coach ratio, and finish with student demos on the last day. The center's year-round flagship program, Code Coaching, pairs a 2:1 teaching ratio with an individualized curriculum rather than a fixed class syllabus.

My son loves his coding class! The teachers are amazing—knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly accommodating. They make learning fun and engaging, ensuring every child gets the support they need. He’s picking up coding concepts quickly while genuinely enjoying the process. I highly recommend this class to anyone looking for a great learning environment for their child!

Today, I visited an open house with my daughter who turned 9 two days ago. The staff and coaches were all very friendly and dedicated to their roles. With the open house special, it seems like a new journey is about to begin.

I used to really like going here and enjoy it, but a lot has changed. First, kids have free time, which is very strange since it's only an hour-long class, and the things they watch are very distracting to the other students. Next, they change coaches too much. I have had several coaches, and they change too quickly for you to get to know them better and trust them. Also, the coach I had last was very bad. He didn't know what he was doing and wasn't helping. He kept searching up tutorials and was on his phone. This is not a place where you would want your kids to go if you really want them to learn instead of just having an hour of playing around and watching strange things. I'm much happier where I am now, where I get real coaching and can learn to code instead of what I had to experience at the coder school.

I cannot believe David is leaving! He just helped hire my sister as a volunteer for the summer before tech starts. The kids really love him. We need more girl coders!!!

Visited the Coder School for a free trial for my son and he had a great experience with Deborah! They have some very interesting and fun sounding summer camps, so looking forward to trying those out.
