Theater Works offers youth theatre summer camps at the Peoria Center for the Performing Arts for two age groups (4-7 and 8-17). One-week camps such as Broadway Bound and the Imagination Series focus on singing, dancing, and acting, while three-week production camps build toward a full staged show in which every camper has a role.

★★★★★SaifCaught the 25th annual Putnam County Spelling Bee at this venue. I was impressed with their efforts to theme the entire venue as if we were in fact at the Putnam County Spelling Bee. They had on brand posters in the bathroom and staff welcoming you to the spelling bee. The venue is comfortable, consecssions reasonable and overall good vibes abound. Parking around the area is free and a short walk away. As I understand, they're heavily engaged with the community, offer classes for folks of all ages and just want to make art.
