Powered by GoogleAmazing dance studio! The dance director, Cruz Conde is an amazing instructor. Not only on dancing, but on overall growth for the dancers. He really pours out his heart for his students and it shows. My daughter started here a year ago. She is super shy, but enrolling her in this class (first k-pop, then Hip Hop), and with Mr Condes exceptional encouragement and support, it really helped my daughter go outside her comfort zone and start to really believe in herself and others. I highly recommend TVDC!
I have seen so much improvement with my daughter ever since she joined the studio. Not only with her dancing but most importantly her confidence on stage and off stage. Mr. Cruz and Ms. Jenna really put up a good show. 100% would recommend 💖
Our family has had such a great experience with TVDC over the last year and a half. My 11-year-old daughter joined the studio about 18 months ago, and from day one we appreciated the structure, discipline, and honest feedback. Coming from previous studios where feedback sometimes felt overly filtered to avoid hurting feelings, this was definitely an adjustment at first. But as parents, we wanted our daughter to learn how to accept constructive criticism, grow from it, and build resilience, and TVDC has helped her do exactly that in such a positive and supportive environment. What we love most is that while the expectations are high, the culture is always encouraging. The students are constantly reminded to stay positive, support one another, include everyone, and treat each other with respect. It feels like a true team atmosphere. We started with just one class, and now my daughter is enrolled in more than three. She stays busy, but it has been amazing for her mind, body, and confidence. The discipline and accountability taught at the studio have carried over into other areas of her life too. She has grown so much in confidence and is truly having the time of her life dancing. Our experience has been so positive that this year we enrolled our 8-year-old son as well. He’s naturally more shy, not very into performing, and usually prefers to stay out of the spotlight, but after doing a show with the studio, he completely surprised us! He had so much fun, got really into it, and now looks forward to class every week. We’re excited for many more seasons ahead. Mr. Cruz and Miss Jenna are both fantastic with the kids. You can genuinely tell they love what they do, and that energy carries into the classes. They make dance fun while still maintaining structure and discipline, and they also create lots of bonding opportunities and activities for the students. Mr. Cruz definitely runs a tight ship and communicates very actively with parents, which can take a little getting used to at first, but honestly, I’ve come to really appreciate the transparency and consistency. He has always been open to conversations and honest feedback, and it’s clear he truly cares about the students and the studio community. We are so thankful to have found TVDC and highly recommend it to families looking for a studio that balances fun, growth, discipline, teamwork, and positivity.
BE WARNED!!! We spent two years, thousands of dollars, and a lot of trust at this studio. The performances may look polished on stage, but behind the scenes our experience ended in a way that broke my 10 year old daughters heart. Communication from the owner was overwhelming and often unprofessional, with constant BAND app posts, pressure for immediate responses, and frequent upselling for extras beyond already expensive tuition. The final situation involved another child being turned away at the door after a disagreement between his family and the owner. Because he carpooled with my daughter, she was caught in the middle. Before I even had a chance to respond after work, my daughter was removed from the studio as well.... no conversation, compassion, or opportunity to say goodbye to teammates she had danced with just hours earlier. She cried for hours, felt betrayed, and was completely blindsided. I understand businesses have rules, but children should never be placed in the middle of adult conflicts. Regardless of disagreements between parents and management, these kids deserved kindness, professionalism, and empathy. Parents should fully understand the communication style, expectations, and how conflict is handled before making a large emotional and financial commitment to an owner that does not have your child's best interest in mind. See my Yelp review for more detail.
We've tried a few dance studios, and honestly they were all pretty good, but TVDC has far and away been the best for my daughter. She improved more in a few weeks than she had over several months elsewhere- and she is having a blast. Mr Cruz like most great teachers and coaches seems to have a special gift for setting a bar, inviting students to meet it, and then helping them to reach it every time (I think surprising themselves sometimes!) The kids work hard- and are getting a real workout during class, which was not always the case with other places. We love that Mr. Cruz is building a kind and connected community of dancers- no cliques, one big crew. My daughter loves Ms Jenna too!
