The Spotlight Theatre is a family-owned theatre in downtown Moline whose Summer Arts season includes a Disney Musical Theatre Camp for kids in grades K-3. The camp runs 9:30am-11:30am Monday through Friday for a week, and each day centres on a different Disney musical through songs, theatre games, choreography and crafts, closing with a short performance on the final day. Two week-long sessions are offered (July 6-10 and July 27-31) at $200 each, and the theatre's Children's Company separately stages youth productions such as Alice in Wonderland Jr.

★★★★Mary JohnsonUpdate: went to The Spotlight for music in one of their smaller rooms. The sound wasn't great but it was fun. The drinks were pricey - had a bottle of Diet Coke and a can of Double Berry Sour $12.00. The show was an over-the-top spoof. It was thoroughly enjoyable and my friends and I laughed often. The theater itself was nice. The chairs and space between were not overly comfortable. One of our party had longer legs and he would have been very uncomfortable in the seats behind us (we were in the first row so could stretch out our legs). The food was just not good. I had a cake pop and a macaroon. The cake pop tasted like soggy (raw?) cake dough and the macaroon was too chewy for a macaroon. My friends had some kind of bar which they liked but did say was VERY sweet.
