Powered by GoogleI am the Head Coach of a AAA baseball team in Granite Falls, WA - right next door to Lake Stevens, where The Shed is located. March is one of the most important months in Little League baseball. It’s our dedicated time to practice, build team chemistry, and prepare for the upcoming season. Every single practice counts. Unfortunately, in Granite Falls we only have outdoor grass/dirt fields, so heavy rain often forces us to cancel. This March 2026, it rained non-stop for the entire month. I searched everywhere for an affordable indoor facility that could accommodate our full team, but most options were either too expensive or too far away. Then I discovered The Shed. Not only was it conveniently close, but I was able to speak directly with one of the owners, Lyle. He was incredibly helpful and easy to work with. He had already set up special pricing for the Lake Stevens and Marysville Little League organizations, and he worked with us to create a great package for Granite Falls LL as well. Thanks to The Shed, we didn’t miss a single practice all through March and into early April. We were able to get our pitchers, catchers, and hitters tons of quality live reps. Our LL package gave us two lanes with a 1.5-hour time slot each practice. The lanes can easily be combined into one large area by sliding the net, which made infield drills simple. When we wanted to split up for live pitching and hitting, it was a quick and seamless transition. The facility is fully equipped with legit pitching mounds, home plates, pitching machines, L-screens, and plenty of balls. All we had to bring were our helmets, bats, and gloves — and we were good to go. Because of the consistent, high-quality practices we had at The Shed, our team got off to a strong start, winning our first game of the season 1-0 on March 30th, 2026. I truly don’t think we would have been as prepared without them. The Shed is a fantastic organization with top-notch staff and ownership. My 9-year-old and 7-year-old sons have fallen in love with the place and have continued training there regularly since our team practices began. The trainers are excellent — many are current college baseball players who give outstanding 1-on-1 lessons. My oldest son, Nathan (9), has already shown dramatic improvements in his confidence at the plate and his pitching routine. They’ve done more than just provide a place to practice when outdoor fields were unusable - they’ve genuinely helped make my sons better baseball players. I don’t usually write reviews, but The Shed and the people who run it truly deserve the recognition. I highly recommend The Shed to any young player looking to develop their skills and to any coach who needs a reliable, well-equipped indoor facility for their team. A huge thank you to Lyle and the entire team at The Shed!
Nice local place to hits some balls and get out from all the rain. You'll need to book ahead. Its best to book an appointment. The establishment is inside a gated set of business. So youll need to know the code. Not that big inside. They have 4 pitching machines for practices. If your going with a group theres No room for parents inside. Best to wait in your car.
The Shed has been amazing for my 10 year old son and his development in the game of baseball. My son has worked with numerous coaches. Coach TK, Coach Trey, and Coach Lyle have been amazing at helping my son develope as a hitter, fielder, and pitcher. Truly top notch. My son struggles with accepting failure and I was able to connect him with a younger coach there. Coach Kellen "KJ" Johnson. To say in a short period of time he made a massive impact on my son is a understatement. KJ was able to connect and communicate with my son on a level that allowed him to understand that failure in baseball is a part of the game. He changed my son's outlook and made a lasting impression. 5 stars isnt enough for these guys.
Our experience with the Sports Shed has been amazing! We have seen tangible results in my son’s performance and agility from his work with Lyle. He has been given exercises and tips on how to continue his growth outside of his lessons, which extends the reps and practice my son can do on his own making his growth even more powerful. Lyle works with each player as an individual and truly meets them where they are at in order to maximize their experience. 💯 recommend!
The shed and Lyle and Jeff are truly amazing! I thank everyone that made this possible! My son had so much fun playing baseball a sport he loves so much! He learned even more at this event! And he's so excited to keep learning the sport of baseball!! Have a great day
