I took my daughter to the Blippi show and sat behind the Great Wall of China. Was not able to see stage whatsoever. We will never do a kid show again ever. This was just not worth the money and no value. Ushers should have offered an alternative to this. The response by Smith Center to this review is also unacceptable. We DID say something prior to the SHOW!!!! Given the response here, it is obvious that the blame is being placed on the paying customer. I will make sure to blast this to anyone and everyone considering ANY show at Smith Center now and never will attend again. Nice response!!!! You are clearly only concerned about ticket sales for seats that are not child friendly, but sell them anyway. Really want to show some customer service? How about direct contact to show that you actually care about the patron and not your bottom-line!

A Classy and Emotional Night at The Smith Center! I had a wonderful experience last night for my first visit to see the touring production of "The Notebook" the musical. The building itself is a masterpiece. It is thoughtfully designed with a stunning Art Deco aesthetic that adds a layer of elegance to the entire evening before the show even starts. I also have to highlight the staff; there were several sweet old ladies working who were so eager to point out interesting architectural details to see before the curtain went up (including the top floor outdoor balcony), and they were equally helpful in guiding me to my seat. Speaking of seating, I was pleasantly surprised by the comfort level. The seats felt much more spacious than what I’ve experienced at similar venues, which made a huge difference in being able to relax and enjoy the performance. I sat in the Dress Circle section, and the sound system was fantastic—I had absolutely no problem hearing every note and line of dialogue. The venue itself (Reynold's Hall) is designed in a horseshoe shape, which creates a very intimate atmosphere. Even though it's a world-class facility, it feels quaint and personal rather than palatial and cavernous. It really makes you feel connected to the performers on stage. As for the musical—it was amazing. Being a fan of the film, I had high expectations, and it did not disappoint. I’ll admit, I definitely cried a few times! If this show is touring in your town and you loved the movie, you should absolutely go see it. I am already looking forward to my next visit to this beautiful venue!

Had a wonderful time watching the nutcracker ballet during the holiday. The art deco design is absolutely beautiful but the staff is what made this place great. Everyone was so friendly, kind, helpful, and just all smiles. They directly contributed to our enjoyment of the evening. I look forward to returning for future events!

I went to see The Lion King! On Wednesday November 19th opening night! The show was absolutely amazing! The colorful costumes, dancing, singing, music, and the storytelling! It was perfection! It took me back to the first time that I saw it! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had not been to a show in a while at the Smith Center. But, to my surprise it's still well kept up! Everyone that I came in contact with was very nice. From the ticket agents to the ushers to the bartenders everyone was really nice!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ keep bringing great shows!👍🏾👍🏾
