Tickets were reasonable and the theatre was comfortable. It ran about 90 minutes.and yes as with non profits, they reach out to the community for support. During intermission, we were greeted by the founder, Corey and invited to walk through the "new" home of Broadway in the H.O.O.D. The tapestry ( layout) was inviting , cultural and included artifacts, colors, decor and poster cards of shows of shows and actors from all walks of life. I was extremely pleased to learn of upcoming events, summer camp and kids who's are increasingly getting involved. I am still in awe and happy to know how far this organization has come and for providing diversity in fine arts to the Las Vegas community Ase'
★★★★Dr. Frances InceWhat a fantastic and intimate experience we had at the Legacy of Excellence Theater. We attended the NYC Jazz Experience: Sounds of the Borough, and it was truly enjoyable. One of the highlights was having the opportunity to chat with the band leader/founder and the musicians—it made the experience feel personal and memorable. The music was excellent, and the overall vibe of the crowd was warm and welcoming. That said, there’s an opportunity to elevate the experience even further. When we arrived, the individuals handling ticketing and greeting guests were not particularly friendly or attentive. I greeted them and didn’t receive a response at first; it wasn’t until a second attempt that we were acknowledged. First impressions matter, especially in a setting tied to theater and the NYC experience, where guests expect a certain level of energy and hospitality. This is simply a suggestion for improvement: the front-facing team sets the tone. A warm greeting, a smile, and basic attentiveness can go a long way in creating that “wow” factor from the moment guests walk in. You have just a few seconds to make that impression, and it’s an important part of the overall experience. Overall, we had a great time and truly enjoyed the performance. With a bit more focus on the guest arrival experience, this could be an even more outstanding and polished offering.
