Joe is an excellent teacher as well as a talented musician. I am an adult student, and Joe is very patient and encouraging. I have seen him interact with younger students, and he is very kind and gentle with them as well. I'm playing pieces I never thought I would be able to and having a great time doing it! A real bonus is that Joe can teach both classical and jazz piano, which is a rare find. The Rhody Center is a comfortable and relaxed place to take lessons, and scheduling is super easy. I highly recommend Joe Godfrey and the Rhody Center!
