The Don M. Smith Branch at 600 Main St is the Prattville YMCA's downtown facility and one of the anchors of its summer day camp program, which runs Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., from late May into early August at Main, Daniel Pratt Elementary and Pine Level Elementary sites. Campers registered at Pine Level are bussed to the Don M. Smith branch to swim three days a week. Weekly fees run about $138 for Prattville Y members and $183 for non-members, with sibling discounts.

Just joined the Adult Exercise Class at the Fitness Center. Open to the public, no membership required. Great class for stretching, movement, balance, & general health. Work with body weight, small weights, balls, can be done sitting. Folks are friendly & non-judgmental, have made me feel at home. Think this will be a great help in dealing with my weak left side & balance.

The pool is wonderfully warm for therapeutic exercise. Prattville has another Y also. It offers more programs for other purposes. Both are available to all Prattville YMCA members. I love the variety of programs. I feel there is something here for everyone. The building is well maintained and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
