I always have a blast here. Not only have I held several parties here but I’ve gone to several of the workshops. The owner is so sweet and encouraging. She always goes out of her way to ensure everyone has a good time. Looking forward to the next workshop!

Went to the studio a week before Christmas. It was fun but to date (2 months later) I still can’t connect with Tara to pick up my project. Left several messages, stopped in over the weekends and no one there. This past Sunday, 2/17/26 she said she would be there till 1:30pm, got there at 1pm and it was closed. I left a message at around 11am that morning stating that I was coming to pick it up. I drove all the way there and didn’t even get a call saying that they were closing earlier, nothing. I have since left two messages and a text message and of course heard nothing. Guess the next step is to complain to Better Business Bureau and dispute the credit card charge on my account. I would not recommend booking a party here due to bad business owner—so unprofessional.

We had our daughter's birthday party here yesterday and the experience was amazing! We booked the Squishmellow and Painting party. The kids had a blast and the staff was extremely accommodating. The kids were kept busy the entire time and there were lots of laughs and smiles. I will definitely be recommending Hammer and Stain to others.

I hate to give 2 stars because the event was a great experience but I am also concered about the health of patrons painting wine glasses with whatever is used to cure them. Sorry, this is long winded.... My mother and I attended a wine glass class in April. They came out beautifully. I went a few days letter to pick them up but the resin was taking forever to dry. They were kind enough to deliver them to my mother's house because we lived far from their Flemington location. When delivered to my mother's they had much of the paper bag they were delivered in stuck to the sides. This is maybe 3 or 4 days later and they were still tacky. I finally decided to maybe try washing them to see if that would help. No, it made it worse! These are not safe to drink from and I don't feel comfortable with the fact that this is a product sold to patrons. Please do not take this class if available again. $60 wasted!!! Why are these items not tested before sold to class members? If they were, surely they would have known better than to continue with the resin product used. See photos attached. Hammer & Stain -- What a fun night out! My friend and I attended a hammer & stain workshop; she made a lazy susan and I made a serving tray. You pick your project, the stain and paint colors. Eileen and her staff are terrific! They have everything ready when you arrive (including the customized stencils that can include last names, etc.)! They were great at helping out and guiding everyone through the process and I was amazed at how awesome every single project came out that night! Great quality products...I think everyone was delighted with what they went home with...I know I was!! Definitely worth making a night of it!
