★Carol S.I bought tickets as a Christmas gift to surprise my sister. I drove three hours so I can accompsny her. We were both extremely excited to see the play based on the movie Ground Hog Day! The description said: "The Musical brings the beloved 1993 film to the stage in a clever, heartfelt, and laugh-out-loud production you won’t want to miss. A joyful, family-friendly musical." Well there was nothing joyful about it. Sadly, I didn't laugh once. It most definitely is not family friendly either. I had bought a ticket for my niece but she fell ill and couldn't attend. Well thank goodness, because from the first moment until the last act before intermission the main character was flipping us off with both hands simultaneously. It was so uncalled for and completely unnecessary. The characters were already not likeable and that just topped it off. One hour felt like an eternity and we left at intermission. This is false advertising of the highest degree!!!
